My name is Bill Moman and I’m a self-described adventurer. Actually, all my friends say I am very adventurous as well. I have also recently converted to veganism.
I made this blog to share my adventures as well as inspire others to get out and become active. There is so much of the world to see and so little time to see it. I work towards my next adventure. Adventures don’t have to always be physically active or cause you to travel miles from your home. They can be as simple trying a new restaurant or cooking a new dish at home.
I have a conditional called EA2 which causes me to get physically ill with stress or physical exertion. Not a good combination when you learn how much I like to do. I consider it a blessing in disguise because it has taught me to not take life for granted and be thankful for the things I have accomplished as well as the friends in my life. I have completed 5 marathons while becoming ill during all of them, even sleeping in the middle of one of them (That’s a story for another time). It has slowed me down at times, but never stopped me from doing what I want.
Please consider accomplishing a task you have always wanted to do, but for whatever reason have not yet done it (call it your bucket list or whatever you want). Just remember that you don’t have to be the best or even finish. You always want to strive to be your best, but I’ve found that it’s the journey that carries you to the finish line that is the real adventure. When you think you can’t do it, just imagine me sleeping on the side of a hill in the middle of a marathon waiting until I felt good enough to continue the race.
